The Brewer Boys

We are sharing on this site some of our video clips of performances old and new. We wanted everyone to see how The Brewer Boys evolved to the performers we are today and the kind of music we sing. When we started singing together, Nathan's voice was much different - being a 10-year old - and if you notice how much smaller he was then, it's fun to see how he's finally caught up with Justin through all these years. Singing as a passion is a true trademark of The Brewer Boys!

To Make You Feel My Love  by Adele (Cover)

A Bob Dylan original, we heard the version of Adele for the first time as we were struggling to learn and rearrange a song for a really quick turnaround performance. This song will always be memorable for us because it made us realize how bad we really wanted to perform and sing! We came up with this arrangement and loved it ever since. Hope you do too! Dedicated to a Mr Jason Sands (who calls us "young hippies") & Ms Robin Koetchke - for the kindness and providing us the inspiration.

Thanks to Vince Mendoza for mastering, Tom Wiker for the drums, CeVA Productions for video shoot & Old Town Temecula Theatre for giving us a "home stage" at The Merc!

Only Exception/Breakaway Medley by Paramore/Kelly Clarkson (Cover)

Inspired by our recent trip back from the most amazing experience we've ever had, we took these two beautiful songs, mashed it up a bit, and put in the newgrass beat and feel to it like only The Brewer Boys can! What a fun way to experiment on making these songs sound a bit different. We just love it! (2011)

Heaps of THANKS to the Old Town Community Theatre's The Merc for giving us a permanent "home stage" in the beautiful City of Temecula.

Caroline (Cover) by the Old Crow Medicine Show

When we started listening to Old Crow Medicine Show, it was the song "Wagon Wheel" that really got us hooked into their kind of music. Wagon Wheel will always be a memorable piece for us because it's what brought us farther and farther into one of the biggest competitions we ever got involved in. And of course, the rest is history (as the cliche goes).  (2011)

Little Lion Man by Mumford & Sons (Cover)

We started listening to this group when we saw them perform with the Old Crow Medicine Show! What an awesome group of singers and songwriters; their sound is so unique and we really dig the acoustic/string sounds mixed with a little bit of alternative bluegrass as heard from the fiddle, banjo and other string instruments they use. If you start listening to their songs, their lyrics and melodies are complex yet really fun to do. Here's one of our favorite songs (the clean version of course!) (2011)

As She's Walking Away by Zac Brown Band (Cover)

We performed this song with a live band at the 2011 Temecula Live Show in Old Town Temecula Theatre. This was a show put together every year by our awesome mentors (G&S Productions) aka Country at The Merc peeps for the benefit of Oak Grove Center for Education Treatment and the Arts. Oak Grove, located in Murrieta, is a non-profit 24-hour residential and educational treatment center that serves children and young adults with a variety of psychological, social, emotional, behavioral, medical and neurological problems with concurrent behavioral difficulties, school problems, family dysfunction and alcohol or substance abuse.

The Brewer Boys have been supporters of Oak Grove for several years now getting involved in their fundraising events and benefit shows around the area. (2011)

Don't Stop Believin' by Journey (Cover)

Back in 2008, Nathan got the chance to belt out this classic song from Journey which showed people that he was not restricted to doing tight harmonies with Justin but can pretty much carry on a song just by himself. ! We look back and only a few years ago, much had changed with his voice and performance while catching up with Justin's height! Always a fun video to watch! (2008)
